Windward Juice @ Pacific & Windward

Usually walking down an alley doesn’t provide someone with a happy experience.  Not the case in the Windward Court alley right next to Pacific & Windward.  If you walk down that alley, you’ll be greeted by a most unusual store:  a juice stand.  More specifically, Windward Juice.  Windward Juice operates from the back stock room of Animal House, a vintage clothing store that has been there for over thirty years.  Seeing an opportunity, the owner built out a quaint place to order Clover organic cold pressed juice, kombucha, and locally sourced “alley snacks.”  Thanks to some ingenious engineering, you can sit on alley barriers and poles and enjoy your healthful juice in the cool ocean breeze.  Get more info on Windward Juice at windwardjuice.com.

Now refreshed from a pick me up, walk around to Windward Avenue and check out Animal House for some sweet threads.  Or if you want even more vintage clothing store browsing, pop into Gotta Have It, which curates clothing from every decade, 1920s on.  And if you’re still a little hungry, just around the corner is Bank of Venice, where you can order one of the tastiest burgers in Los Angeles.
